This privacy policy explains how Physical AI Safety collects, uses, and protects personal information of visitors to physical-ai-safety.com. We are committed to handling data lawfully and transparently in line with the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law, 5741-1981 (as amended).

1. Who is the controller

The data controller responsible for processing personal information collected through this site is:

Controller: Physical AI Safety (independent research)
Privacy contact: privacy@physical-ai-safety.com
Jurisdiction: Israel

2. What we collect

We minimize what we collect. The site processes the following data only:

  • Email address — when you subscribe to the newsletter or download a free report. Required to deliver the resource and future updates.
  • Aggregate analytics — only if you accept analytics cookies. Includes anonymized IP, page paths, referrer, browser type, and approximate country.
  • Server logs — IP and request metadata kept by the hosting provider for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

3. Why we collect it

Email is used solely to deliver the content you requested and the weekly newsletter. We do not sell, rent, or trade email addresses. Analytics data is used in aggregate form to understand reader interests and improve the site.

4. Third parties

We use the following service providers, who process data on our behalf under written agreements:

  • Google LLC (United States) — Google Analytics 4, only with your explicit consent. IP is anonymized before storage.
  • Substack Inc. (United States) — newsletter delivery infrastructure. Email addresses are mirrored to Substack only after you opt in.

5. Retention

Email addresses are retained while your subscription is active and for up to 12 months after unsubscribe for legal record-keeping. Analytics data is retained for 14 months in Google Analytics. You can request earlier deletion at any time using the contact email below.

6. Your rights

Under the Israeli Protection of Privacy Law (Amendment 13, 2025) you have the right to:

  • Access personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data (subject to legal retention obligations)
  • Withdraw consent at any time, including for analytics cookies via the cookies page

7. Security

We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), restricted access to subscriber lists, and minimal data collection by design.

8. Updates

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the newsletter. The current version's effective date is shown at the top of this page.
